Becoming a patient
Our practice is built around people, not just treatments. We want every patient to feel understood, supported and confident from first visit to final retainer.
Your first visit
Your first orthodontic assessment is designed to be relaxed and informative. We listen to your goals, examine your teeth, bite and jaws, and take modern digital records, such as a 3D scan, photographs and X-rays if needed to understand your case fully.
This is a key step that allows us to gather the information and design a treatment plan tailored for you.
Diagnostic evaluation
After your records are taken, our specialist evaluates the full picture not just the teeth, but also jaw position and joint health, facial balance/profile, growth potential (for children/teens), gum health, space and arch width, and how you bite, chew, speak and breathe. We identify the underlying problem and any risk factors, so you know exactly what the findings mean before planning begins.
At your review visit, we’ll explain the results clearly and answer your questions.
Personalised treatment
At your second visit, our specialist reviews your records and explains the goals, options, any limits and the appliances that may be used, often explained with images or models. You’ll have time for your questions so you can decide with confidence.
Prices are agreed upfront and stay fixed for the course of treatment, regardless of visits or duration.
Starting your treatment
Your active treatment begins with the appliance recommended for you, braces, aligners or other specialist options. Through regular visits we review progress and make precise adjustments to keep treatment moving as planned.
You’ll leave after each visit with clear at-home guidance so you’ll know exactly what to do and we’re here between visits too if you have a question or to arrange an appointment if needed.
Long term care
Retention keeps your new smile stable once braces or aligners come off. We plan retention from the start, so you’ll know what to expect when treatment ends. You’ll get clear wear instructions on how and when to wear your retainers and you’ll have scheduled check-ups to monitor stability.
If a retainer is lost or damaged, we can often remake it from your digital records.
